Do you know How to create a Boundary survey in AutoCAD?
- First of all, click “Home tab” then “Draw panel” & click on “Boundary“.
- In the “Boundary Creation dialog box,” you can see in the “Object Type list” just choose “Polyline“.
- Below the “Boundary Set“, make sure to do one of the following:
- If you want “to create a boundary set” from all “objects visible” in your “current viewport” also choose “Current Viewport“.
- You can specify which “objects to involve” in the “boundary set” & click New. Select the “objects” that you need to use to “create the boundary“.
- After that, click on the “Pick Points” option.
- Make sure to specify points within “each area” to form a “boundary polyline“. But keep in mind that this area must be bound. Please check that there are no gaps between enclosing objects.
- Also, you have to press Enter to create the boundary polyline & end the command. But you have to note that the polyline may not be visible as it overlaps the objects used to create it.
